Target Audience

 The assignment was to create an audience survey about films using a survey tool like google forms. The survey needed to focus on a specific film genre and include demographic questions such as age. The goal was to collect audience preferences to help inform the planning of a film opening. The survey had to include 7-10 questions and be used to gather real audience data of 50-75.

To create my survey, I first decided on what information would be most useful for understanding my audience, such as how old they are, if they enjoy horror movies, and how much they enjoy them. I used artificial intelligence to give me ideas for questions and I used some in my survey and created some questions on my own. I used google forms because it is the easiest to use and uses a clear format. How i got my responses was sending my link to family, friends, and classmates.




the things i found through his survey shows most people enjoyed the horror genre and were 17 and younger. a lot of people feel tense but curious during the movies and find silence to be an effective tactic. Using these findings I intend to use silence and scare factors to my benefit.

 In this project me and a group of 3 were tasked to chose from a list of prompts and create an environment around the prompt. We were to have atleast 4 foley sounds in this environment a the rest of the sounds were to be taken from a copyright free sound effects website. The scene: A dark night in the woods, walking with only a lantern as the light source, you hear echoing all throughout the forest and the sounds of dogs barking, the sound of leafs and branches crack under your feet. Editing Techniques

      EDITING TECHNIQUES ASSIGNMENT       In this assignment me and my partner were tasked to create 8 scenes all representing a different editing technique. Each scene had to have a title card with the editing term, the title of the scene, and the scene that we put together. Sound had to be included in each scene and each scene had to be edited. The first technique we used was the shot reverse shot, the prompt we did was 2 people arguing. During the filming process my partner filmed me and my other friend pretending to argue. The second technique we did was a jump cut and the prompt we did was working overtime. my partner filmed himself at the day time going to his computer and working, it cuts to him later at nights tired like he’s been working all day.   The assignment that I was given for this Collage was to take 11 different pictures all with different camera shots. The process I went through for this assignment was first, finding an object to take the different shots with. I originally planned on using my dog but then realized it would be hard to keep them still so I chose one of my sisters plush parrots. My experience creating the shots wasn't very difficult as I had my dad help me because he's a videographer for reality TV so he knows all of the shots.
