 The genre I am choosing for the future is the horror genre and the reason I am choosing this genre is because I really enjoy horror movies and have a good idea for how I am going to execute the film opening. I am working on this film opening alone because I feel more comfortable not having to rely on others schedules and having overall control on the project. The production name I have chosen for this project is "N/A Productions". The reason I chose this name and logo is because my initials are N.A. and whenever I think of film openings I always remember most having the word productions at the end of it. The reason I created the logo like this is because I wanted to make it creative by replacing the / with a bloody bone and adding other horror related things that would later make sense in my film opening.

      EDITING TECHNIQUES ASSIGNMENT       In this assignment me and my partner were tasked to create 8 scenes all representing a different editing technique. Each scene had to have a title card with the editing term, the title of the scene, and the scene that we put together. Sound had to be included in each scene and each scene had to be edited. The first technique we used was the shot reverse shot, the prompt we did was 2 people arguing. During the filming process my partner filmed me and my other friend pretending to argue. The second technique we did was a jump cut and the prompt we did was working overtime. my partner filmed himself at the day time going to his computer and working, it cuts to him later at nights tired like he’s been working all day.
